Schulz took birth on October 30, 1983. His native place is East Village, near Manhattan, New York city. His father Larry Schulz was a reporter, and military veteran. Schulz’s mother Sandra Cameron was an eminent ballroom dancer. Schulz’s mother was Scottish and his father was American. His parents started a dance academy named Sandra Cameron Dance Center in Manhattan. More than three decades this academy has been running.

Schulz did his primary schooling at Lillie Devereaux Blake Primary School in Manhattan. Then he went to Robert F. Wagner Middle School which is in the upper East side neighborhood. He attended Baruch College Campus High School in Kips Bay for further studies. 

He grabbed a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Career of Andrew Schulz

In his early life at college, he started practicing stand up comedy on stage. He continued to do so even after returning back to New York City. In the year 2008, he took part in the Edinburgh comedy festival. After getting a huge success he started his own YouTube album based on comedy- 4:4:1. After gaining popularity, he released the sequel 5:5:1 on June, 2018. This series got so much popularity, within a few days of release, it held a top position in Apple music, Amazon music, Google Play music. 

This album holds the number one place in the Billboard comedy album chart. 

Schulz has also taken part in some reality shows as an anchor. MTV shows like Guy court, Girl code, Jobs that don’t suck, The Hook up are the famous shows where he appeared as a host. 

In 2015, Schulz was seen in the short series Benders. 

He got roles in Amazon Prime series Sneaky Pete, Hulu’s There’s Johnny! , HBO’s Crashing. With his outstanding acting skill, he nailed all the series. 

Schulz also appeared in well known podcasts. He is well known for his The brilliant idiots with popular MTV 2 personality Charlamagne tha God. In 2021, Schulz was seen in an interview with a psychology professor Jordan Peterson on the Jordan Peterson Podcast. 

Schulz has hosted another show Flagrant 2 where some other renowned comedians Mark Gagnon and Akaash Singh appeared.

Schulz wrote some scripts where he also appeared as a character. The most famous among them are Rise of the Radio Show and The Apartmentship.
